Banca Transilvania in Romania launches the BT Go business application, through which it explores new ways to support entrepreneurs with banking and business solutions.
Some of BT Go‘s functions are in this pilot phase:
- Online opening of a current account in RON and foreign currency;
- Money transfer between own accounts and to business partners;
- Viewing transactions and generating account statements;
- Issuance and payment of invoices;
- Uploading documents – invoices, agreements, etc.
“Using regular banking applications, businesses generally manage their accounts: make payments, exchange currency, and look over transactions. In BT Go we build by thinking about how businesses work in everyday life, adding functionality for business management, from money, accounts, or invoices. We are gradually approaching, exploring, testing, and implementing this stage. We look at entrepreneurs` needs and thus have a better chance of achieving something useful. Today the Bank’s customers can use several applications developed by BT over the years. Gradually, as BT Go increases in number of functionalities and beneficiaries, it will become the main business application at our Bank,” – declares Tiberiu Moisă, Deputy General SME Director & MidCorporate at Banca Transilvania.
In recent years, the Bank has developed its ability to produce more and more digital solutions for customers in-house, such as the BT Go app, which has been contributed by almost 50 people from the Bank and Finshape team.
During the pre-launch phase, BT Go saw over 1,000 customers successfully enrolled.
