BGŻ BNP Paribas Bank in Poland, as part of the development of the ecosystem for newly formed companies and in collaboration with a fintech called Findoor, launched a platform called przechodzenaswoje.pl (Setting out on your own), which is intended for people who want to start or have just started their own business. Przechodzenaswoje.pl is the first portal in Poland wherein entrepreneurs can obtain comprehensive information on starting a business from reliable and experienced experts all in one place.
The platform is a response to market trends and the needs of customers who are moving to the online world. Poles generally do their shopping and book vacations online, whereas when it comes to developing their businesses, they have mostly thus far benefitted from information provided on online forums. The aim of the new platform is primarily to support people who are setting out with their own business and to give them easy and quick access to comprehensive information from experienced and bank-verified experts.
“BGŻ BNP Paribas Bank supports and understands entrepreneurs, which is why in March we introduced ecosystem services directed at newly formed companies. The bank’s customers can count on help with a broad range of issues – from setting up a business to daily matters related to running a business. Going one step further, we decided to create a platform that will bring together experts from various fields, who will provide professional answers to questions that often torment young entrepreneurs. Also, this advice will be completely free of charge,” says Karol Kamas, Head of Daily Banking Department at BGŻ BNP Paribas Bank. “I believe that we have created a unique solution that best meets the needs and expectations of new entrepreneurs. We know how important support is, especially when first setting up a business. As representatives of the bank, together with external experts, we want to help make new entrepreneurs’ first steps when starting up a business easier.”
What’s more, the Platform is simple and intuitive to use. Anyone interested in starting a business can ask their questions related to more than a dozen categories: law, tax, accounting, payment terminals, banking, subsidies, real estate, payments, e-commerce, web pages, branding, social media, advertising, marketing, market research, sales and customer acquisition. Each expert registered on the platform has their own profile with a description of their experience, which is verified by the bank.
As of the platform’s launch (July 18, 2018) the Bank had brought together almost 20 experts, representing companies such as Publicis Media, BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland and Elavon, to name but a few.
