BNP Paribas Bank Polska, together with several partners, has prepared a practical guide for companies on the topic how to develop diversity and inclusion in the organization. “Diversity and Inclusive Culture Step by Step” is a manual that comprehensively discusses the most important aspects of diversity management and the practical implementation of an open attitude towards others.
„As an organization that is based on diversity and employee inclusion – regardless of gender, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability religion, talents, and many other characteristics, we want everyone to feel valued, respected and have an impact on building our organization. We realize that building a company based on such values is not easy. The obstacle is not necessarily low sensitivity. Very often it is about the lack of adequate knowledge about the problems or limitations faced by people from groups at risk of exclusion. I am glad that we were able to share our experience in this area and perhaps contribute to making the organizations around us become better workplaces”- said Małgorzata Petru, Diversity Officer at BNP Paribas Bank Polska.
The guide is the result of the work of the D&I Roundtable group – people dealing with diversity management and building an inclusive culture in 15 different organizations and enterprises as well as the Polish Institute of Human and Business Rights and Diversity +. Financial support was provided by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Poland.
Companies that shared their knowledge and experience in the field of diversity management, among others are Orange Polska, ANG Group, AstraZeneca, Netguru, LOTTE Wedel, CD PROJEKT RED, CWS Polska, IKEA and the Polish Institute of Human and Business Rights, and Diversity +.
