BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions Polska introduces a comprehensive solution for enabling online verification of its customers. The customers will be able to confirm their identity remotely without having to meet in person and leave the house. The onboarding process based on modern digital tools provided by Autenti and ARIADNEXT will contribute to increasing safety and will positively influence the users’ experience.

The company decided to implement a digital customer service system to effectively implement the internal processes, and be in compliance with the internal procedures while ensuring security and improving efficiency in the Internet channel.

“Digitization of the business processes is becoming a priority, and it is an important element of the functioning of many organizations. The appropriate verification process is crucial for the safe functioning of our customers in the virtual world. In addition, the automated solutions for identity verification significantly speed up the process and increase the satisfaction of our customers,” emphasized Michał Porycki, Managing Director of TS at BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions.

The introduced solution uses the system by ARIADNEXT by IDnow, which is available as a part of the Broker.ID service on the Autenti platform., based on artificial intelligence, combines optical character recognition (OCR) and machine learning, giving the possibility of fully remote and automatic verification. The entire process is intuitive and takes several dozen seconds, and the customer only needs an ID card and a webcam.

When logging into the service, the system first reads the information from the identity document and analyzes its authenticity in real-time – the verdict appears in less than twelve seconds. It also allows for cross-checks and checking that, for example, the name of the identity document is the same as with other supporting documents. The user then goes through an aliveness session, also known as a viability test, in which they are prompted to move their head as directed. The tool compares biometric data, and video recording with a photo from an ID document.

“Already at the initial stage, the system verifies whether the person in front of the computer or phone screen is really who he or she claims to be. It can detect possible anomalies like a face mask, avatar, or a third party in the process. This is fundamental in the context of combating identity theft and countering fraud.
