BT Go by Banca Transilvania in Romania has a new functionality, a first for banking applications: the automatic issuance and sending of e-invoices to the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (NAFA). The facility helps business owners align with the RO e-Invoice (the Romanian e-invoicing system) legislation, according to which, from January 2024, businesses must issue e-invoices, that go directly to the Virtual Private Space (VPS) service of NAFA.
For the integration of this functionality, Banca Transilvania chose to collaborate with i-Tom Solutions, the developer of the FGO platform, the most used invoicing and business management solution in Romania, with over 100,000 users.
“BT Go is more than just a banking application. It’s a business application, and we plan for BT GO to become the most useful digital tool for businesses. In addition to the usual functionalities – payments, FX Exchange, cards – today we are launching e-invoicing and e-invoice automation. We are preparing many novelties we will announce regularly,” – declares Tiberiu Moisă, Deputy CEO of MidCorporate companies & SMEs at Banca Transilvania.
“From January 1, all businesses will have to use the RO e-Invoice system, which is mandatory not only for invoices issued to legal entities but also for receiving e-invoices from suppliers. FGO has completely automated this type of integration. Once the VPS account is connected with FGO, the user can activate the automatic sending of e-invoices to the VPS, at the desired interval after issuance. Thus, the e-invoices will be transmitted to the VPS without any further action on the part of the user. We have a 100% success rate for uploading e-invoices to the VPS due to the automatic mechanism we have created for these situations. The FGO account also contains the status, the receipt from NAFA, as well as the e-invoices received from suppliers,” – says Valeriu Filip, Founder at FGO.
This functionality is free for one year from subscribing to RO e-Invoice.
