Yesterday, on November 25, during Annual CEE SME Banking Club Conference, taking place 100% online, we awarded the best SME bankers and fintechs for the best digital solutions implemented by them for the SME customers.
Banks and fintechs were nominated in five categories:
- The Best Online Banking for SMEs in the CEE region in 2020
- The Best Mobile Banking for SMEs in the CEE region in 2020
- The Best Digital Lending Solution for SMEs in the CEE region in 2020
- The Best Digital Factoring Solution for SMEs in the CEE region in 2020
- The Best Digital Sales Tool for SMEs in the CEE region in 2020
Financial companies were nominated for the Awards by the SME Banking Club based on the respective Rankings and Studies produced by the SME Banking Club for the CEE region this year.

The Best Online Banking for SMEs in the CEE region in 2020 – SME Banking Club analyzed the functionality of online banking solutions for SMEs in the CEE region based on 90 parameters, which were grouped on the following modules:

The Winner is – ING Bank Śląski in Poland for the Solution ING Business – Online Banking for SME and Mid Corp customers.
The Best Mobile Banking for SMEs in the CEE region in 2020 – SME Banking Club analyzed the functionality of mobile banking solutions for SMEs in the CEE region based on 90 parameters:
The same weights were taken into account when calculating the rating.
Mobile Banking for SMEs Rating 2020 (CEE Region)
The Winner is – ING Bank Śląski in Poland for the Solution Moje ING – Mobile Banking for Private Individuals and Private Entrepreneurs.
The Best Digital Lending Solution for SMEs in the CEE region in 2020 – SME Banking Club analyzed the possibility to apply for and receive a loan fully online for Micro and SME customers based on 20 parameters:
All the parameters were weighted equally when calculating the rating.
Digital SME Lending Rating 2020 (CEE Region)
And the winners are Moneta Money Bank (Czech Republic), ING Bank Śląski in Poland for the Solutions: Digital Lending for Private Entrepreneurs, and Digital Lending for Legal Entities.
The Best Digital Factoring Solution for SMEs – SME Banking Club analyzed the availability of factoring products to SME customers via digital channels, based on 17 parameters:
All the parameters were weighted equally when calculating the rating.
Digital Factoring for SMEs Rating 2020 (CEE Region)
And the Winner is SMEO – Factoring fintech from Poland, providing a fully digital factoring process for SME customers.
The Best Digital Sales Tool for SMEs was chosen by the SME Banking Club based on the review of the first implementations of the digital customer acquisition processes in the CEE region.
The Winner is Budapest Bank (Hungary) for the Sales Telemetry System.
