Entrepreneurs working with Banca Transilvania in Romania can sign online, through BT eSign, loan agreements, and additional documents for loans without real estate guarantees. It is the newest BT solution for remote banking.
The electronic signature is free, and the signatories may include residents who are not BT customers but co-debtors or guarantors.
BT eSign was launched in November 2021; it has been in the pilot phase. Since then, more than 200 customers who have used this solution have signed more than 300 loan agreements and additional documents – to receive, extend or restructure a loan.
It has been well received by customers eager to adopt digital solutions and those abroad or in isolation due to the pandemic.
