At Erste Bank Hungary, even micro-companies can easily manage their finances. At the end of July, the Bank’s small business customers were replaced by the George Web and George App services, which had previously been used by the mobile and online banking interface.

“Erste’s small business customers switched to George smoothly. Previously, the Bank’s digital platform could be used by retail customers, but from the end of July, micro-companies were also able to use it. Erste made George available to tens of thousands of small entrepreneurs, so managing their finances became easy for them,” – said László Bek-Balla, Head of Erste’s Digital Channels & Contact Center.

Thanks to the switch, customers can not only switch between their own and their business’s finances without separate identification, but they can more easily search for previous transactions and refer people with whom they were previously connected. They can approve online card purchases, access George Web, and transactions there with the help of the George App, with a single move, they no longer need to use an SMS code. The account statement can be scanned and sent to the accountant. Customers can organize their business Bank card purchases into detailed categories, and they can safely view the PIN code of their business Bank card using the PIN display function.

George is not only a more likable platform and better adapted to the small entrepreneurs` needs, but it is also constantly developing. The possibility of screen sharing is coming, so customers will be able to show the Bank’s advisors where they got stuck during an operation. It will also be possible to sign documents, so you won’t have to go to the branch for them either. Thanks to this service, micro-companies can easily digitize their business card this autumn, i.e. they can use it for mobile phone payments, but statement authentication is coming, loan applications for small businesses are being prepared, and Erste is already developing the connection with invoicing programs.
