ING Bank Romania launches InBusiness, for sustainable growth of SMEs.
Last year, 114,000 SMEs were established in Romania, increasing by 10% compared to 2021, and 75% of respondents to a study conducted by ING Bank, Impact Hub, and Bravva Angels declared that their business is functional and generates income. In the context in which interest in entrepreneurship is increasingly pronounced, the InBusiness blog aims to bring concrete ideas and information, on various current topics, from experts, case studies, and stories of successful Romanian businesses.
“Entrepreneurs need predictable tools for efficient business management, support for successful growth, and financing solutions that suit their needs. We are with both entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey, and those who already have mature businesses, throughout the development of their businesses. Conversations with entrepreneurs are a continuous source of inspiration for us, we learn from them, and we understand their priorities and the challenges they face. That’s how I created the InBusiness blog. On this platform, we aim to facilitate the exchange of information from entrepreneurs to entrepreneurs, to turn information into inspiration for businesses and more,” – Delia Olteanu, SME Segment Strategy Manager, Business Banking Division at ING Bank Romania.
Corina Neagu (Human Resources Consultant and Founder of DARE) explained what it means to be an entrepreneur and offered valuable advice for those just starting. In addition, Ana-Maria Udriște (Founder of Avocatoo.ro) provided information on how entrepreneurs can secure the financial resources needed to start a business, on the advance sale of digital or physical products or dropshipping, and also on how they can obtain a loan with instant access to money. Tudor Galoș (Data Protection Consultant) pointed out the most common mistakes in neglecting the protection of personal data, and Raluca Prelucă (Partner and Senior Consultant at fundi-structurale.ro) revealed the main myths and truths about European financing.
In the InBusiness blog, information dedicated to entrepreneurs is structured into four categories:
Business ABC – will specify how entrepreneurs can navigate through day-to-day activities, for optimal human resource management, data security, choosing business partners, and identifying the right financing solutions;
MacroFocus – will provide insight into the evolution of the main macroeconomic indicators. Entrepreneurs will learn how and why it is useful to consider them regardless of the size of the business;
Sustainable Business – will present case studies, best practices, inspiration, and examples of steps that entrepreneurs can take in their transition to more sustainable businesses;
European Funds – will decipher the broad subject of European funding, with practical and useful information;
On Growth – will emphasize the importance of continuous learning and the power of partnerships, providing access to development resources through programs such as Startarium and ScaleOut.
