ING Bank Śląski in Poland has introduced an investment loan supporting sustainable development, addressed to a wide range of medium and large enterprises. For the first thirteen months of financing, the Bank’s margin is 0%. The new offer is the result of the Bank’s Ecological Declaration, which is a key element of the Bank’s long-term strategy.
Companies are becoming increasingly aware that sustainable development means benefits for the environment and real savings in the business. ING supports customers in making pro-ecological choices, which is why it has prepared a financing offer for commonly available solutions, thanks to which companies can reduce the impact of their activities on the natural environment. ING committed in its latest Ecological Declaration that by the end of 2023 it will allocate PLN 4.5 billion (approx. EUR 1 million) for the Financing of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and pro-ecological projects in the corporate area.

“So far, the so-called green financing was available to large corporations and complex projects. Thanks to our new offer, smaller companies will also have a chance to finance their pro-ecological goals and they will do it on favorable terms because we gave up the Bank’s margin in the first investment period,” – said Ewa Łuniewska, Vice President of the ING Management Board.

“Our offer has simple and understandable rules. We have defined twelve goals, the financing of which we are ready to support. Eleven of them concern very specific investments, e.g. the purchase of a photovoltaic micro installation or a small wind turbine, thermal modernization, or the purchase of waste processing machinery. We are also open to the initiatives of our customers – allow them to individually agree with us on the purpose of the loan,” – emphasizes Michał Tusznio, Executive Director of Financing Center at ING Bank Śląski.
The offer parameters:
- The loan currency: PLN.
- The loan amount: up to PLN 20 million.
- The loan term: min. 36 months, max. 120 months.
- 0 % Bank margin for the first 13 months.
- Up to a 12-month grace term in a capital repayment.
- The reference rate: WIBOR 1M.
After 13 months from the conclusion of the agreement, the Bank will verify the documents confirming the fulfillment of the financing conditions. If they are not met, the customer will be obliged to pay a 2% fee on the amount of the loan granted.
The offer is valid until December 31, 2022.
