Business customers can now authorize operations ordered via the website or hotline using mobile authorization in the iPKO business mobile application. Mobile authorization is available for Android and iOS phones. PKO Bank Polski systematically implements solutions that help companies manage their finances on an ongoing basis.

“Our goal is to constantly develop the iPKO business application by implementing functions that are useful to our customers and make it easier for them to use the banking application in their daily work. That is why we provide company customers with mobile authorization, which is a convenient and secure alternative to codes generated by mobile or hardware tokens,” – said Mariusz DÄ…browski, Director of the Transaction Products Department at PKO Bank Polski.

The iPKO business mobile application for companies has just been enriched with a mobile authorization function, which allows its customers to confirm operations ordered in the electronic banking system without the need to rewrite one-time codes generated by tokens – instead, they can confirm the operation on their phones.

PKO Bank Polski customers using tokens can change the tool to mobile authorization in the settings of the iPKO business mobile application. On the other hand, new customers will be able to select mobile authorization in the application for adding a user.

Mobile authorization is available to customers using iPKO business on phones with Android and iOS systems. After ordering an operation, e.g. a transfer, the customer will receive a notification from the iPKO business mobile application. The customer confirms the operation with the PIN code to the application. This is an easier and faster way because it eliminates mistakes when rewriting the password from the token.

The iPKO business mobile application is available in four language versions: Polish, English, German, and Czech. It can also be used by customers of PKO Bank Polski in foreign branches – in the Czech Republic, Germany, and Slovakia. In the coming months, the Bank plans to implement several new functions in the iPKO business application: the possibility of temporarily blocking and unblocking payment cards, presentation of unsettled operations (blocks) carried out with debit cards, generating confirmations of operations in PDF format, dark mode of the application and the possibility of ordering transfers from the application level.
