Almost half a thousand – this is the number of companies that sent their applications for this year’s edition of the Digital Revolution by mBank in Poland. Among them, the jury selected the best seven. This year, for the first time in the history of the competition, the awards were presented during the gala during the mBank`s Digital Revolution #ecommerce summit.
The contestants competed for one of the seven prizes with a total value of over PLN 400 thousand (approx. EUR 100 thousand). Including two main prizes worth PLN 150 thousand (approx. EUR 37,5 thousand) and six additional ones worth PLN 22 thousand (approx. 5,5 thousand) each one. The companies could apply in two categories: a company with a turnover of up to PLN 10 million (approx. EUR 2,5 million) and a turnover of PLN 10 (approx. EUR 2,5 million) to PLN 50 million (approx. EUR 12,5 million). In both, the competition task was the same: describe the idea of running a company in the virtual world and justify why this idea has a chance to be successful in e-commerce. Both companies with many years of experience in the market and those who are almost fledgling (it was enough to show the turnover for the last three months) could participate in the struggle.
In the category of companies with a turnover of up to PLN 10 million (approx. EUR 2,5 million), the idea of the Mroomy company turned out to be the best. Three 2nd-degree prizes were awarded to Fabryka Rozsady, Ha! Ha! For Kids and Śmieci.eu, eMarket.
Planteon won in the category of companies with a turnover between PLN 10 (approx. EUR 2,5 million) and 50 million (approx. EUR 12,5 million). And the 2nd-degree prizes were won by: Arpol professional tools and Jurga.
In addition to prize packages to help them spread their wings in the virtual world, the winners also received an NFT ledger, on which they will find a digital version of a classic statuette.
