The 2022 year’s Agro Academy of BNP Paribas Bank in Poland will be held under the motto – “The Price of Tomorrow”. The first online meeting will take place on February 22. The presentation “Agro Market – where we are, questions about the future” will be presented by Grzegorz Kozieja, director of the Agricultural and Food Sector Analysis Office at the Department of International Food & Agri Group of the BNP Paribas Group.
Moreover, all participants who will join this meeting will have the opportunity to submit their questions to experts in a special chat. To participate in the event, they should complete the registration form at www.agroakademia.com.pl.

“As part of the sixth edition of the Agro Academy, we will focus on the analysis of the current situation in agricultural markets and on how this situation translates into agribusiness. The invited experts will look at the raw material crisis, rising fuel prices, more expensive agricultural inputs, and broken supply chains. They will consider the impact of these factors, including for the future of agriculture. There will also be references to government programs implemented in our country and affecting the agricultural sector. We hope that the knowledge and experience of the invited experts will prove helpful in making business decisions in a difficult economic environment,” – said Maciej Piskorski, director of the Agro Products Department at BNP Paribas Bank.
The second Agro Academy meeting is scheduled for the beginning of April. Under favorable circumstances, it will take place in a hybrid formula, with due security measures. Some participants will be able to take part in a live meeting, while others – will join online.
The agenda will include discussions with a wide group of experts, theoreticians, and practitioners, representatives of scientific and legal circles specializing in agricultural matters. Details of this event will be announced on the Agro Academy website in early March.
The Agro Academy has been implemented in the form of original meetings by BNP Paribas Bank since 2016. Its main idea is to provide farmers with specialist knowledge in the field of financing agricultural activities and general knowledge about business, necessary in running farms, which comes from professional companies serving the agricultural sector. These meetings are an opportunity for education, substantive discussion, and raising current issues for the environment, as well as fostering its integration. The Agro Academy concept is in line with the policy of BNP Paribas Bank, which aims to take care of customers’ finances, but also to provide them with substantive support in the business.
