Customers of Alior Bank in Poland, from now on, can register new businesses as sole entrepreneurs in the Central Registration and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG). They also can open their business accounts as well. Additionally, as part of promotional campaigns, new users who will have the iAccount Business can win prizes for active use of their accounts.

The new function can be used by Alior Bank`s customers, who use Alior Online, do not have a business registered in the Central Registration and Information on Economic Activity, are adults, have Polish citizenship, and have a confirmed identity at Alior Bank.

“Our individuals can register their businesses in the Central Registration and Information on Economic Activity without visiting our branches. All they need to do is fill out one simple application in online banking, which will allow them to simultaneously register a business and set up the iAccount Business. This is another step in the implementation of the assumptions of the Bank’s strategy, which is to contribute to increasing the automation of processes and making it easier for interested parties to undertake business initiatives,” – says Aleksander Kogut, Director of the Business Customer Product Projects Department at Alior Bank.

To become a sole entrepreneur, the customer, after logging in to Alior Online, completes the application by entering the name, address details, the form of insurance, the method of taxation, as well as the types of activities according to the Polish Classification of Activities (PKD). After that, the completed document goes directly to the Central Registration and Information on Economic Activity.

After a positive consideration of the application for a new business activity, the Tax Identification Number (NIP) and the Business Registration Number (REGON) will be assigned. The customer will receive the Tax Identification Number within two business days, and the Business Registration Number within seven days of applying. In the next step, the Bank will create the iAccount Business with a debit card. The agreement regarding maintaining a business account is signed by SMS, and the application to set up a sole proprietorship is signed by a trusted signature.

Opening and maintaining the iAccount Business is free of charge.

You can also find out more detailed information and regulations of the promotional campaigns here (in Polish).
