For the seventh year in a row, Postbank is participating as a main sponsor in the “Big Little” competition, organized by the “24 Hours” newspaper. The initiative is implemented for the benefit of small and innovative Bulgarian entrepreneurs that successfully develop their products and services on the market.

This year 57 Bulgarian enterprises presented their brave business ideas. An authoritative jury nominated 10 winners, who won an advertisement worth 10,000 BGN (approx. 5 114 EUR) in the paper and online editions of “24 Hours”.

The finalists in the competition will also receive free banking services from Postbank, which they will be able to take advantage of over the next year. This was announced during the award ceremony by Filip Popov, Head of the Small Business Banking Department at the bank.

“We accept this event as our mission because the idea of the bank is to support small business and it is important for us to contribute to its development in these difficult times,” said Filip Popov, Head of the Small Business Banking Department at Postbank. He presented the award to one of the big winners – Krassimir Nikolov from Gromoli – a boutique family business that makes organic walnut oil by extracting it from walnuts and making flour from skimmed nuts. The enterprise is entirely from the green sector because it does not use any electricity.

“Small enterprises are very big and show with every innovative idea how good it is to have big dreams to follow,” commented the Minister of Economy Daniela Vezieva during the award ceremony
