Raiffeisen bank in the Czech Republic and EVO Payments International are involved in the Czechia Pay by Card project. Together, they offer entrepreneurs and companies a payment terminal or payment gateway free of charge and zero transaction fees for accepting cards for a six months. EVO Payments International, operating under the REVO brand, provides a free terminal or payment gateway and zero transaction fees for card payments up to a turnover of CZK 300,000 (approx. 1 1794 EUR).
“Cashless payments have been booming in the last few years and the trend of digitalization of payments is still accelerating. That is why it is very important to support other entrepreneurs and companies to offer these modern payment methods to their customers. The Czech e-commerce market is one of the fastest-growing markets in Europe. We want to contribute to its further development, so we are looking for a way to motivate entrepreneurs even more.”– said Kateřina Štěrbová, General Manager at EVO Payments International for the Czech Republic.
Another advantage is provided to new Raiffeisenbank customers who open a business account with the bank. If they agree on a payment card acceptance agreement at the bank’s branch within 10 days after opening the account, they will receive the PAX D220 payment terminal completely free of charge.
“By providing a payment terminal free of charge, in addition, the Czechia Pays by Card initiative, we give customers a real opportunity to experience the benefits of accepting payment by card for up to half a year without a single fee. We purposefully chose the most modern payment terminal for this initiative, which is similar in size to a mobile phone, and yet offers all methods of payment, including the increasingly widespread payments by phone or smartwatch” said Tomáš Němčík, Head of Micro Segment & Loans at Raiffeisenbank.
Entrepreneurs and companies can use the Czechia Pay by Card offer from 1 April 2021 until the end of March 2022. Detailed conditions are published at www.revopayments.cz and www.rb.cz/promo/spolehlivy-terminal for six months as part of the campaign.
