Since January 17th,2024, the second edition of the “STRONG in Business” program has started. This is a program for those who want to start or develop their businesses. Participants will take part in free training and webinars. They can also win educational grants. The project organizers are Santander Bank in Poland, the Polish Entrepreneurship Foundation, and the Polfund Loan Guarantee Fund.
The “STRONG in Business” program is a series of ten free webinars for those who want to start or develop their businesses. All webinars will be translated into Polish Sign Language.
“The latest report by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development shows the SME sector constitutes as much as 99.8% of all enterprises in the country. They employ over 6.9 million people. As a Bank, we actively support entrepreneurs in their business challenges, we are involved in creating solutions that facilitate running a business and managing the finances of SMEs. The “STRONG in Business” program allows them to acquire competencies and tools in areas such as marketing, new technologies, and ESG that will help entrepreneurs develop their businesses,” – says Filip Jaskuła from Santander Bank Polska.
Who are the speakers?
Maciej Kawecki – Science Journalist and Technology Popularizer,
Olga Kozierowska – Journalist, Social Activist, Trainer and Mentor,
Artur Kurasiński – Entrepreneur, Creator, Investor, Observer and Critic of Technology-related Phenomena,
Tycjan Bielecki and Beata Kubida – ESG experts at Santander Bank Polska.
Participants will learn how important it is to work with data, how to promote business on the Internet at a low cost, how to deal with difficult situations, and why ESG is so important.

In addition to developing competencies, current and future entrepreneurs can take part in the competition and win a development grant. All they need to do is submit a business plan with a description of the idea on the website in one of four categories:
- An idea for a new business
- An idea for developing the business
- An idea for an ecological business that supports our planet
- A business idea without barriers that take into account diverse needs and is socially responsible
The project lasts from January 17th, 2024 to June 4th, 2024. The competition for the best business plan lasts from January 16th, 2024 to May 30th, 2024.
