UniCredit Bulbank presents the first platform on the market for electronic document exchange/Digital Document Exchange (DDE) for legal entities.
The platform follows the strategy of UniCredit Group and UniCredit Bulbank for optimization and digitization of the processes, products, and services it offers. DDE is a solution developed by UniCredit Group that will be used in all CEE countries to exchange documents with legal entities. It is a fully digital channel that allows companies to exchange and electronically sign documents with the bank in a secure environment, completely free of charge. For even easier access, DDE is also available through online banking – Bulbank Online.
Among the main advantages of the platform are the secure, confidential, and reliable signing of documents, the possibility of signing with a one-time KEP* generated on the platform or your own – after only 60 seconds, 3 clicks, and 1 e-signature, a whole package of documents for a specific product are signed by the client and sent to the bank. In this way, companies repeatedly shorten the time to access and use the bank’s products and services by signing without limitation from anywhere in the world.
The platform was developed thanks to the efforts of the bank’s local and central teams, also based on the collected feedback from customers. UniCredit Bulbank is one of the first banks from the UniCredit Group to start using it and already has registered customers who actively exchange and sign documents without the need for a paper medium for the benefit of the environment.
“Digitalization for us is not just a strategic choice, but a daily thing. We are witnessing an accelerated pace of digital transformation that covers every aspect of our lives, including the banking sector. Easy access to financial services is of utmost importance for a good customer experience. By implementing such type of innovative digital solutions, we manage to provide even better service to our customers. In this way, we upgrade the work of companies with the bank and provide them with exceptional convenience to manage their banking operations without the need to visit a bank branch, thus saving valuable time and being able to fully focus on their business,” said Borislav Bangeev, Director of Corporate Banking of UniCredit Bulbank.
It is expected that in the first year of the implementation of the digital solution, several thousand electronically signed documents will be reached, and within two years, every second customer will use the platform as the main secure channel.
The recognition of the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2023 for “Best Corporate Bank in Bulgaria” and “Best Bank for Digital Solutions” reflects UniCredit Bulbank’s commitment to providing its corporate clients with the highest quality financial services and innovative solutions, reinforcing its leadership positions in digital banking.
