UniCredit Bulbank’s business customers can now sign their documents electronically. Through a certified QES (Qualified Electronic Signature – issued by a certification service provider under the Electronic Document and Electronic Signature Act, EDESA) or through the mobile application Evrotrust, developed by “Eurotrust Technologies”, the entrepreneurs have the opportunity to sign, confirm and send documents anywhere and at any time, without the need to visit bank’s branch. After signing electronically, customers receive information about the status of their documents from the banker serving them.
The signing can be done upon request of QES for legal entities from a legitimate provider of qualified certification services in the EU. With the Evrotrust service, the whole process is online. Entrepreneurs need to download the mobile application, where registration is done by taking an ID card photo and selfies. The system then automatically issues the electronic signature with the appropriate validity. Thanks to this functionality, the corporate clients of UniCredit Bulbank earn more time for their business and reduce the use of paper.
„The growing need to use online banking is obvious; and now it is becoming preferred by legal entities. They are changing the way they work – they are increasingly interesting in paperless remote services – and we are adapting to this and even pioneering new solutions. Our goal, as the number one corporate bank in Bulgaria, is to constantly improve the customer experience of the customers who choose us. More than 85% of our corporate clients already use our digital channels for their banking operations. And we will not stop there, but will continue to make our customers’ experience even better.” – said Raluca Popescu, Director of Corporate and Investment Banking.
